The fourth-ranked NC Dinos snapped a three-game losing streak in dramatic fashion.

NC won their home game against the Hanwha Eagles 10-9 at NC Park in Changwon on the 17th. After drawing the first game of the three-game series and losing the second, the team turned things around with a win in the third. With 51 wins, two draws and 47 losses on the season, the team maintained a 3.5-game lead over third-place KT Wiz (56 wins, two draws and 45 losses). Hanwha's bid for a fourth straight win was derailed by a bullpen collapse. Their season record is 41 wins, 6 ties, and 53 losses.

The game was a back-and-forth affair throughout. Hanwha scored first in the top of the second inning with three consecutive hits from Lee Jin-young, Jang Jin-hyuk, and Park Sang-un. NC took advantage of Hanwha starter Kim Seo-hyun's struggles in the bottom of the second inning, loading the bases with three walks and scoring on an RBI single by Son Asub and an infield grounder by Park Min-woo to make it 3-1. Hanwha cut the deficit to 3-2 in the top of the third when Noh Si-hwan doubled to left-center field with runners on first and second. NC had runners on first and third in the bottom of the inning as Kwon Hee-dong doubled and Do Tae-hoon was hit by a pitch, but could not capitalize.

Hanwha's bats came together in the top of the fifth inning. Leadoff hitter Lee Do-yoon led off with a triple to right-center, and one out later, Williams followed with a tying double. Two walks loaded the bases, and Kim In-hwan's sacrifice fly to left field made it 4-3. NC was not done. In the bottom of the fifth, after loading the bases with one hit and two walks, Kim Ju-won hit a two-run double to center field. NC squandered a chance to extend its lead in the bottom of the sixth inning when Martin grounded out to shortstop with runners on first and second.

In the top of the seventh inning, Hanwha appeared to have the game won with a "big inning. Leadoff hitter Moon Hyun-bin reached on a throwing error by second baseman Park Min-woo. NC pounded out 16 hits on the day. No. 1 Son Ah-seop led the offense with six hits, three doubles (one home run) and five RBIs. Five players from the first through fifth batting order (Son As-seob→Park Min-woo→Park Gun-woo→Martin→Kwon Hee-dong) combined for 11 multi-hit games. Kim Soo-yoon had his first career walk-off hit. For Hanwha, Kang Jae-min (1 inning, 2 hits, 2 runs) and Jung Woo-ram (1 and 1/3 innings, 4 hits, 1 home run, 2 runs) were the difference makers. At the plate, Moon Hyun-bin went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs, while Williams went 2-for-6 with a home run and three RBIs.
